Inspect the Chair Every 6 Months - Just like any other piece of machinery that gets used often, screws and bolts can become loose as time progresses. In order to avoid accidents, such as a chair collapsing or a part giving out, you should inspect your chair at least once every 6 months to make sure all parts and components of the chair are tightened. Look for defective casters/wheels, loose securing bolts, loose arms, broken mechanism, and evidence of cracks on the base of the chair from stress. If any of these parts are broken, contact your furniture dealer to see if these parts are under warranty. As aforementioned, if your chair has a good warranty, you should be able to get these replacement parts shipped to you for free.
For years, the executive leather office chair has been depicted as the epitome of class, success, prestige, and wealth. Look at almost any TV show or movie that features an office figure that is looked up to and admired and take a look at what kind of chair they are sitting in. The vast majority of the time the chair they are sitting in is a leather office chair. Even just imagining a leather office chair, the first person that comes to my mind when I think who would be sitting in it would be some high powered executive. Although notoriously reputable and sought after, leather office chairs like any other kind of chair comes with both advantages and disadvantages.
In this world where just everyone seems to be in a constant state of tension and stress, it is important that we take care of ourselves where it matters. We can admit to ourselves that the reason why we are constantly stressed is likely to be the hectic schedules in our busy careers. True, true. But then, have you ever thought of how your office chair affects you?
If you are hesitant to purchase a chair without arms for the first time rest assured that most chairs allow for the flexibility to remove the armrests at your convenience at a later point in time. Most office chairs purchased through internet dealers are shipped unassembled allowing you to decide if you need the armrests during the process of assembly. If you do choose to install your armrests and find at a later date that you would prefer to sit in an armless office chair, the arms can easily be taken off giving you ultimate flexibility. The only time it is impossible to remove the arms on an office chair is if the arms are part of the chair's structure and overall design, which is a rare feature.
